BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
Date: July 18, 2005
Members Present: Stephen Enoch, Peter Kolodziej, John Makuc, Melissa Noe (clerk), Robert Annelli
The meeting began at 3:50pm
I. The Board discussed the agenda for the August 15th, All Boards meeting, regarding Title V interpretation issues such as but not limited to:
- Variance issues
- Definitions of new construction/addition/upgrade issues with Leavitt as example
- All boards having a standard definition to work with
- Any issues other boards may have with BOH procedures
- Building Inspector’s process/requirements
- How process works and where clarification may be necessary in definitions of Title V
- When is a Title V inspection necessary
- Change in square footage flows
A review and question/answer period will follow.
II. The Board will discuss at the next meeting (8/1/05) the Well Regulations and possible changes.
III. 7/19/05 - Peter Kolodziej will be meeting with Craig Gibbons and Rachael from White Engineering at Peter’s office regarding the Leavitt case with a site visit to follow. Bob Annelli will also attend.
IV. Laurie Rubin complained about potential housing code violations in a house she rents from Mike O’Connor off New Marlborough Rd on Brook Mead. She thought their was asbestos in the building and had issues with the air quality. Peter informed her of what could be done. Peter will be performing the inspection on Wednesday, 7/20/05 per Ms. Rubin’s request.
